Professor Bahaj chaired the steering committee meeting on the 27th August 2020 which was held virtually due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Eng Issac Kiva from the Ministry of Energy, Kenya; Eng Jonathon Mbutu, REREC, Kenya; Mr Benon Bena, REA, Uganda, and Mr Samson Ondiek, KPLC, Kenya attended the meeting. Research presentations by the Fortis Unum researchers outlined the mini grid policy aspects and needed changes inline with the deep learning from the project.
